Our practice is nationwide, with appropriate involvement of local counsel. Major clients include developers, large-scale property owners, and health care institutions. We also regularly assist companies in other industries with leases and with buying and selling businesses that have a real estate component.
In connection with purchases, sales and financings, we provide a full range of business and regulatory advice to assure attention to all aspects of the deal. We not only draft and review contracts and loan documents and assist with due diligence, but also provide necessary environmental and tax advice, address zoning issues and requirements, and assist with project syndications.
Our landlord-tenant practice includes preparing leases and related forms for landlords and reviewing and negotiating leases on behalf of tenants. We also regularly consult with clients about lease-related disputes and prosecute and defend lease-related litigation.
We have been involved in numerous, sizable construction projects from contract formation through completion, and have handled many contract disputes and other litigation matters arising out of construction projects.
